CARTER Burnett is delighted to announce that we will be participating in two major national Clinical Negligence conferences this year - reaffirming our commitment to remain at the forefront of the latest best practices and legal developments.

To kick off matters, we will be attending the AVMA Annual Clinical Negligence Conference in Leeds at the end of this month as exhibitors – sharing our costs knowledge and listening to all the key developments in medical law.

Held at the Royal Armouries Museum on 21 and 22 March, the event is known for bringing together the country’s best medical and legal experts, with a strong emphasis on promoting patient safety and justice.

From 25 to 27 September, we will be exhibiting at the APIL Clinical Negligence Conference in Wales, a two-day programme of world class speakers. Taking place at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, the main ‘Obstetrics & Gynaecology’ theme will be discussed by the UK’s leading legal practitioners and medical consultants.

With the first date approaching swiftly, Director Lee Carter is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to learn and expand our reach across the UK. He will be attending alongside fellow director Jon-Paul Burnett, in-house Costs expert Sean Linley and Senior Costs Consultant Stephen Regnauld

Lee said: “By attending and participating in these conferences, we hope to gain invaluable insight into the most significant legal rulings and medical advancements that are shaping the industry.

“We are all looking forward to hearing about the processes and best practice which are being implemented to enhance patient safety and improve standards of care.

“Both conferences are a great way to meet new people and expand our network. Hopefully, we will be able to connect with the solicitors and practitioners who could benefit from our Legal Costs expertise.”
