Costs Lawyer
An experienced Costs Lawyer with almost 20 years of industry service under his belt, Chris deals with all aspects of bill drafting and costs budgeting, specialising in high-value Claimant Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury costs.
Having started his Costs career in Legal Aid work, Chris qualified as a Costs Lawyer in 2011 and has gained a wealth of experience in receiving party costs law before joining us in January 2022.
What are your main interests or hobbies?
My two young children keep me very busy but I do love football - watching and playing (five-a-sides given my veteran status). I’m also an avid supporter of my local football team Carlisle United. When I’m not spending time with the family, I like to visit the gym or binge-watch a good TV series. I also enjoy walking our two dogs, Bella, a Maltese, and our Cockerpoo called Olive.
What’s your favourite food?
Moussaka – I got addicted to it when visiting Greece but just can’t find a decent one back in England.
Which smartphone App could you not live without?
Most definitely WhatsApp - it’s an essential way to keep in touch with friends and family.
How would you describe yourself in 5 words?
Kind, studious, caring, friendly and helpful.
If you could go back in time, what advice would you give your younger self?
Stop worrying about things which you have no control over and enjoy life, you only get one.
