Celebrating five successful years in Newcastle with more growth and exciting times ahead

Five years strong and still on the rise – today marks a landmark anniversary for us in Newcastle, almost a year to the day since expanding into our new modern in the heart of the city.

Having opened our North East office in 2021, we relocated to larger premises at Clavering House in August last year and this was quickly followed by the appointment of Sean Linley as a Director and Newcastle Manager.

Since taking on the role, Sean has overseen a period of sustained growth, including the appointment of Brooke McPherson, Sandra Maclean, Laura Crookes, Aaron Hudspeth and Christianna Koutsouridou to grow our Newcastle team to ten people.

Under his leadership, our client base has strengthened and Sean has been instrumental in fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, particularly for our trainees and junior team members.

Working closely with team leader Laura Crookes and training manager Reagan Butler, Sean often draws on his vast experience to help with ongoing staff development. He also organises regular social events and quizzes to bring our team together.

Looking back on a year of positive momentum, Managing Director Lee Carter said: “It has been an excellent 12-month period of growth and that reflects the hard work and leadership Sean has brought to the role.

“Sean is well known across the industry and highly regarded within legal circles for his costs law expertise. He is also widely respected by our Newcastle team, where he is committed to supporting them and developing their legal careers.

“As we celebrate our fifth year in the city, we are looking forward to another strong 12 months ahead and we hope to build on the momentum we have created.
