Darcy joined Carter Burnett after gaining previous experience working in a law firm, where she met clients and assisted with the preparation of important documents.
Before embarking on her legal career, she completed undergraduate studies at the University of Hull, gaining a Masters in History.

What's the best thing about working at Carter Burnett?
The atmosphere in the office is always relaxed and welcoming. I’ve also been lucky to work on a variety of clinical negligence cases, which are very interesting in terms of the legal process. Cases like this make you aware of how medical events and conditions can have a massive life-changing impact on people.
What are your main interests or hobbies?
Having played lacrosse at University, where I was Vice President of the Women’s Lacrosse team, I've since joined Hull City and have recently been made Chair of the women’s team.
How do you spend your spare time?
After moving to Beverley from the North East, I enjoy exploring the local sights and finding out more about what the region has to offer.
