Aaron Hudspeth - Trainee Costs Draftsman
A proud Newcastle native who is personable and easy to chat with, Aaron is excited to be taking the first steps of his legal career after graduating with a Law Degree from Newcastle University in 2024.
During his spare time, Aaron enjoys playing online chess and going for hikes in the countryside. He has already climbed Scafell Pike alongside his Dad and they are currently working their way through the Wainwrights in the Lake District.
Aaron loves being surrounded by nature. He has a cat called Pixie and often walks his three dogs – a Jack Russell named Dave, a Chihuahua named Hank and a Pug called Ozzie – on the North East’s various beaches.
What music do you like – any specific genre or artists?
My favourite music artists are David Bowie and The Strokes, but I do like all sorts of stuff and will listen to pretty much anything.
What’s your favourite food?
I’m really into Lebanese cuisine after a friend introduced me to it at school and love going to the Shawarma & Grill House just outside China town in Newcastle.
What’s your holiday destination?
I’d have to say Prague because it’s a fantastic city with a lot of culture and excellent architecture. I’d definitely like to go back!
What film or boxset would you recommend to others?
My favourite action film is probably the Seven Samurai but I also love Hook with Robin Williams, who is one of my favourite actors. TV wise, I would recommend Better Call Saul, it’s a phenomenal watch if you can get through the first season.
Do you have a favourite book and why?
Although I don't really read as much as I should, my favourite book is The Hobbit – an absolute classic.
Which smartphone App could you not live without?
I’d have to go with YouTube as I enjoy watching videos on obscure topics which YouTube is great for.
Who would you most like to meet and why?
I would probably go for David Attenborough because he’d have a few tales to tell and I could listen to him talk about nature and where’s he’s been all day long.
