CARTER Burnett is thrilled to announce that a limited number of free tickets are now available for our 2022 Law Costs Conference.

Taking place at Alderman Fenwick House in Newcastle on October 6, our current clients should have already received their invitations.

Now the remaining places are available to book on a first come, first served basis.

Having managed to attract two key figures from the North East law circuit as guest speakers; attendees will be able to enjoy unrivalled insight, free food and drinks in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Leila Benyounes, a Clinical Negligence and Inquests specialist from Parklane Plowden Chambers, will be joined as the headline speaker by District Judge Searl.

Last year’s showpiece attracted a bumper crowd and we are expecting tickets to go fast for an occasion which is becoming one of the go-to events on the Costs Law calendar.

Network & Discuss Costs

Held in association with Parklane Plowden Chambers, the Conference provides the perfect opportunity to network and fulfil Continued Professional Development requirements.

Hosted by directors Lee Carter (pictured above at last year's event) and Jon-Paul Burnett, they will be joined by our own Costs Law experts to discuss any aspects of costs in relation to Clinical Negligence and high-value Personal Injury claims.

Looking ahead to the occasion, Lee said: “Leila is a highly-skilled advocate with vast experience across a wide range of practice areas, so there's no doubt she will provide some invaluable insight, especially relating to the complex issues of inquest costs.

“Having served as a Regional Costs Judge on the North Eastern Circuit for almost a decade, DJ Searl also has a detailed and comprehensive understanding of costs issues.

“There was a real buzz at last year’s event and we’re sure this one will be exactly the same. We’re already looking forward to it and can’t wait to see everyone.”
