CARTER Burnett is delighted to announce the return of our highly-regarded annual Law Costs Conference.

Taking place on October 8 at Alderman Fenwick's House in Newcastle, one of the city’s oldest buildings, invites have already been sent to our current clients.

Now a limited number of places remain available to book on a first come, first served basis.

Held in association with Parklane Plowden Chambers, this FREE event returns after a two-year absence because of the Covid-19 pandemic with a strong line-up of Costs experts.

Stuart Jamieson, a Barrister & Deputy District Judge (Civil) on the North Eastern Circuit, will be the headline speaker.

Abigail Telford, a Barrister and member of the Pupillage Committee, will provide insight into all areas of her practice.

The pair will be joined by Carter Burnett’s Seamus Kelly, a Solicitor Advocate who practices exclusively in costs, specialising in Clinical Negligence and high-value Personal Injury claims.

Learn & make valuable contacts

Having previously enjoyed hosting the Conference alongside founder Jon-Paul Burnett, director Lee Carter is hoping it can again prove to be a success.

He said: “We always relish spending quality time with our current and prospective clients – and this event provides the perfect platform to do so.

“Not only is it an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest legal costs developments, it’s also a great way to meet new people. The event also provides the delegates with continual professional development points.

“We are looking forward to welcoming as many of our clients as possible and we’re hoping our excellent panel of Law Cost experts will help to attract a few new faces too.”
